Complimentary Consultation & Feasibility

We meet, we discuss, we listen. The initial consultation is an exciting discovery process. You will be speaking with one of our skilled construction specialists who understands design, zoning, building regulations and the ins-and-outs of the entire pre-construction phase. You will discuss your goals, design ideas, and preferences for your new project as well as budgeting and timelines. Then, we will introduce you to our many resources and walk you through the entire Hellings design process.

Initial Design

The design starts with determining which type of home you want to build.

  • Option #1: Choose from One of our classic main line designs.
  • Option #2: Modify one of our designs to make it your own.
  • Option #3: Start fresh with a totally custom design with your architect or ours.

We will work with you to develop a full scope of work and construction contract which will be executed during our final design and pre-construction phase.

Final Design & Pre-Construction Phase

With your personalized design complete, the construction drawings are prepared along with a site plan as required for the building permit submission. During this period, you will begin to work with one of our experience selections coordinators to make the decisions on the unlimited choices of fixtures and finishes that fit your style and budget. Your selections and choices are complete in an organized system that works within the timelines created in the construction schedule.

Build Your Dream

As soon as the permits are approved, it’s time to turn your dream into reality. Your project manager (“PM”) will develop the construction schedule that includes all the projected task dates for construction and decision target dates for selections. Your PM is in charge of ordering and receiving materials, managing the team of craftsmen and trade experts, coordinating inspections, and assuring the highest project quality. Your new home will be treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. We at Hellings strive to build to the highest standard and make your dreams a reality.
