Complimentary Consultation & Feasibility
We meet, we discuss, we listen. The initial consultation is an exciting discovery process. You will be speaking with one of our skilled remodeling specialists who comprehends design, zoning, building regulations and the ins-and-outs of the entire pre-construction phase. You will discuss your goals, design ideas, and preferences for your new project as well as budgeting and timelines. Next is the Hellings design process where you will be introduced to our many resources and create a truly personalized design experience.
Initial Design
The initial design starts with understanding the layout of the existing space and with your feedback, collaborate with our designer to create ideas that are consistent with your style, budget, and timelines. We can create lifelike 3D renderings and video walk-throughs that make the project come to life and help you to visualize the space before it is built. Once the design is complete, we will work through the details of the material specifications to develop a full scope of work and construction contract which will be executed during our final design and pre-construction phase.
Final Design & Pre-Construction Phase
With your personalized design complete, the construction drawings are prepared along with a site plan (if necessary) as required for the building permit submission. During this period, you will begin to work with one of our experience selections coordinators to make the decision on the unlimited choices of fixtures and finishes that fit your style and budget. Your selections and choices are complete in an organized system that works within the timelines created in the construction schedule.
Build Your Dream
As soon as the permits are approved, it’s time to turn your dream into reality. Your project manager (“PM”) will develop the construction schedule that includes all of the projected task dates for construction and decision target dates for selections. Your PM is in charge of ordering and receiving materials, managing the team of craftsmen and trade experts, coordinating inspections, and assuring the highest project quality. Your home will be treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. We at Hellings strive to build to the highest standard and make your dreams a reality.
