Step one

Complimentary Consultation & Feasibility

We meet, we discuss, we listen. The initial consultation is an exciting discovery process. You will be speaking with one of our skilled remodeling specialists who understands design, zoning, building regulations and the ins-and-outs of the entire pre-construction phase. You will discuss your goals, design ideas, and preferences for your new project as well as budgeting and timelines. We will also introduce you to our many resources and walk you through the entire Hellings design process.

Step two

Initial Design

The design starts with measuring the existing space, listening to your feedback, and collaborating with our designer to create ideas that are consistent with your style, budget and timelines. We can create life-like 3D renderings and video walk-throughs that make the project come to life so that you can fully visualize the space before it is even built. Once the design is complete, we will work through the details of the material specifications to develop a full Scope of Work and Construction Contract which can be executed during the next step.

Step three

Final Design & Pre-Construction Phase

The construction drawings are complete along with the site plan (if necessary) as required for the Building Permit submission. During this period, you will begin to work with one of our experienced Selections Coordinators to make decisions on the unlimited choices of fixtures and finishes that fit your style and budget. Your selections and choices are completed in an organized system that works within the timelines created in the Construction Schedule.

Step four

Build Your Dream

With the construction plans and selections finalized, and all permits in place, we are now ready to make your dream a reality. Your Project Manager ("PM") will develop the construction schedule that includes all of the projected task dates for construction. Your PM is in charge ordering and receiving materials, managing the team of craftsmen and trade experts, coordinating inspections, and ensuring the project quality. We will treat your home with the utmost care and respect and will build your dream to a higher standard.
